A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid except as otherwise expressly provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price. The Town of Glastonbury will receive on-line Bids for installation of a concrete encased section of 24" reinforced concrete pipe trunk sanitary sewer main. Additional work associated with this item shall include furnishing, installing, and maintaining two (2) sanitary sewer bypass pumping operation's, stormwater dewatering, furnishing and installing standard riprap armoring and site restoration as depicted on the contract drawings located at the rear of 2327-2333 Main Street in Glastonbury. A Bid may be rejected for irregularities of any kind, including without limitation, alteration of form, additions not called for, conditional proposals, and incomplete Bids. A Bid may also be rejected if, in the opinion of the Town, the Bid does not meet the standard of quality established by the Bidding Documents. Any or all Bids may be rejected if there is any reason to believe that collusion exists among two or more Bidders.
