Anybody who wishes to submit a bid MUST obtain the documents from Gianforcaro Architects, Engineers & Planners Sealed Bids will be received for Various Projects at the Saddle Brook High School and Franklin School, Saddle Brook, New Jersey, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Gianforcaro Architects & Engineers. Sealed Bid Packages will be received for a single overall contract and all work incidental thereto. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms in the designated manner, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and Proposal Identification Number on the outside. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the Order of the Board of Education for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, but in no case in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). Each Bidder must also submit a Certificate of Consent of Surety from a Surety Company indicating it will provide Performance/Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract. All Bidders and subcontractors must meet prequalification and classification requirements with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction prior to bid submission. Proof of registration with the New Jersey Department of Labor and the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, is required for both Bidders and subcontractors. Bidding shall be in conformance with applicable Federal, State, and Municipal Laws, including Affirmative Action provisions, and other requirements as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Board to do so, and to not award a contract for any portion of the project if requisite approvals have not been obtained. No bid will be accepted that does not conform to the specifications furnished.
