Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Elk Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.

Furnish all the necessary labor, tools, and products to remove and replace classroom windows and window shades. All bidders shall quote in conformance with the exact conditions and specifications outlined. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of your bid must be provided. Bonds for all unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon award. The owner may require a performance and labor bond; list your cost for the PLM bond separately on the bid sheet and do not include it in your base bid. The contractor shall carefully measure and verify all areas to ensure a proper fit in all designated areas, as no request for installation extras will be considered due to measurement or take-off errors. Submit a list of two references for similar school projects, complete with name, address, phone number, and contact person. The contractor is responsible for removing and disposing of existing windows and shades. Use specified aluminum horizontal-sliding window products by the named manufacturers and adhere to required features including thermally improved construction, designated glazing, hardware, weather stripping, fasteners, interior trim, and insect screens. Bids must comply with all listed specifications.
