Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Elk Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The work consists of improvements to the sanitary sewer and water systems, including installation, removal, replacement, cleaning, and lining of various sizes of sanitary sewers and water mains. Sanitary sewer improvements include installing 1,975 feet of 6 forcemain, removing and replacing 1,104 feet of 8 sewer, additional replacement and new installation of 1,293 feet of 8 sewer, abandonment and demolition of 708 feet of 8 sewer, removal and replacement of 692 feet of 10 sewer, cleaning and lining 1,205 feet of 12 sewer, cleaning and lining 766 feet of 10 sewer, and cleaning and lining 253 feet of 10 truss pipe. Water system improvements include installing 1,118 feet of 8 PVC C900 water main, 3,298 feet of 8 PVC C900 water main, 306 feet of 8 PVC C900 water main, and 140 feet of 14 HDPE water main across US-31 at Elk Lake Road. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for all bidders. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend this conference.
