Description

Site work for a transportation facility in Clarendon, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

Sealed bids are invited for the New REILS Runway 18-36 project. The work includes the installation of two L-849E Runway End Identifier (REILS) units. Copies of plans, specifications, and contract documents can be examined at the Clarendon Municipal Airport and at the office of Grimes Consulting Engineers. Plans and specifications are available for purchase from the engineers' office. Each bid must include a proposal guaranty of five percent of the bid amount, payable to the City of Clarendon, as assurance that the contract will be executed and required bonds provided within ten days of contract award. Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to participate. The contract is subject to Executive Order 11246 and the Equal Opportunity Clause. Bidders must provide all information required by the proposal form. The City of Clarendon reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities, except for conditions related to Executive Order 11246. Bids must remain effective for 120 days after the bid opening. No plans or specifications will be provided to plan rooms.
