Refer to the Bid Documents for a detailed description of the scope of work for Contract No. 1 – General Construction (GC) at Washington Irving Intermediate School under the 2024 Capital Bond Project, Phase 2. Bids must be submitted as one original signed and sealed bid, plus two copies, in a sealed, opaque envelope clearly marked “Contract No. X – XX Construction” and “Bid - 2024 Capital Bond Project – Phase 2, WASHINGTON IRVING INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL - BID # 25/26 - TUFSD003”. Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns. The accepted low bidder will be required to furnish specified insurance and payment and performance bonds for the full contract sum. Bids received after the specified time and date will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Faxed and electronically transmitted bids will not be accepted. Bidders assume full responsibility for timely delivery of bids. Bid documents, drawings, and specifications can be obtained online or from the designated print provider, and bidders are responsible for paying all costs related to document acquisition and shipping if needed. Only those who acquire documents via the designated means are considered official plan holders. All addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders and posted online at the specified websites. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities, technical defects, irregularities, or omissions, request additional information, or reject any or all bids and re-advertise if necessary.
