Historic restoration services for the Vattman Monument, including condition assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation work in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior (SOI) Standards. The work includes conducting a comprehensive condition assessment report evaluating existing conditions and materials; developing a treatment plan compliant with SOI standards and applicable preservation briefs; and performing rehabilitation and restoration activities to stabilize and restore the monument. The scope encompasses detailed materials investigation and documentation for masonry and metal restoration, along with all general construction activities required to execute the approved treatment plan. The contractor shall comply with applicable federal laws governing historic buildings, structures, and objects, secure all required permits including environmental permits, and provide daily progress summaries with electronic photographs. Work will be performed during normal business hours, with responsibilities including site surveying, protection of existing features, establishment of construction limits, safety controls and fencing, utility locating and flagging, site clearing and erosion control, grading and protection of existing vegetation, proper drainage, daily cleanup, waste disposal, and restoration of any construction-related impacts.
