Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project Description: This project will remove the existing West and Wilson Street intersection and realign them. The new roads/intersection shall be re-placed with new concrete pavement, new curb & gutter, driveways, and side-walk. Storm and sanitary improvements will be done as well. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through online for bids to be accepted. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the City of Racine to qualify to bid. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Racine reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or accept that bid which, in the opinion of the owner, will serve the best interest of the City. Bidders must be prequalified by the Commissioner of Public Works. Deadline for submitting a prequalification application is five (5) days prior to the time of bid opening.
