Sealed proposals will be received for the rehabilitation of Runway 11/29 at Rohnerville Airport. The work includes pavement rehabilitation, pavement markings, and associated airfield improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications. All labor, materials, methods, processes, implements, tools, machinery, equipment, transportation, permits, services, utilities, and items necessary to complete the work must be provided. Estimated construction cost is $4,000,000.00, and the contract time is 60 calendar days, with liquidated damages of $2,250.00 per day. Bids are required for the entire work described. All bids must be mailed or delivered to the Department of Aviation. Prospective bidders must email the Department of Aviation Office to receive electronic bid documents and register as plan-holders. Failure to register as a plan-holder may result in a nonresponsive bid. Printed copies of contract documents may be obtained upon advance payment of a non-refundable printing and service charge. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond and possess a CLASS "A" Contractor's License at the time the contract is awarded.
