Renovation of a municipal facility in McKinleyville, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,024-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.

Sealed bids are invited for the performance of all the work and the furnishing of all the labor, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment for the construction of the Humboldt County Animal Shelter ADA Modification, as described and pursuant to the contract documents on file. Each bid must be contained in a sealed envelope addressed as set forth in the bid documents and filed at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Humboldt County at or before the specified time. Each bid must be in accordance with the bid documents, construction drawings, and specifications available through the Humboldt County website. Each bid shall be submitted on the forms furnished within the bid documents and all forms must be completed. It is the bidder's responsibility to check for any addenda issued prior to bidding and to join the Document Holder’s List if desired. All bids will be publicly opened and summary amounts read aloud. Bidders may submit written inquiries for clarifications or questions by email or mail to the attention of County of Humboldt Administrative Office ADA Compliance Team, 825 5th Street, Suite 112, Eureka, CA 95501,, Email: ada@co.humboldt.ca.us CONTRACTOR'S USE OF SITE AND PREMISES A. Coordinate use of the premises under the direction of the County. B. Assume full responsibility for the protection and safekeeping of materials, products, and equipment under this Contract, stored on the site. C. Move any stored materials, products, and equipment under Contractor's control which interfere with the operations of County or a separate contractor. D. Obtain and pay for the use of additional storage or work areas needed for Contractor's operations. E. Contractor shall be aware of and abide by the Humboldt County and local Noise Ordinance and County's noise prevention requirements. Contractor to verify County's requirementsCOUNTY-FURNISHED AND CONTRACTOR-INSTALLED (OFCI) ITEMS A. County-Furnished and Contractor-Installed (OFCI) Items: As indicated on the Drawings and Technical Specifications. B. County's Responsibilities: 1. County will furnish products indicated. Schedule relocation of items with County. 2. After relocation, County will inspect delivered items for damage, jointly with Contractor. C. Contractor's Responsibilities: 1. Contractor is responsible for relocating, unloading, and handling County-furnished items at Project site. 2. Contractor is responsible for protecting County-furnished items from damage during storage and handling, including damage from exposure to the elements. 3. Contractor shall install and incorporate County-furnished items into the Work, as indicated and as required. Work includes providing support systems to receive County's equipment and making plumbing, mechanical, electrical connections, and miscellaneous work items associated with installation of County-furnished items. 4. Contractor shall repair or replace County-furnished items damaged by Contractor's operations, as approved by County in writing
