Qualified bidders may submit bids for the WWMS - Interior Improvements Project at Wilbur Wright Middle School, 8650 Columbia Avenue, Munster, Indiana 46321. Bids will be received for a single General Contract to a General Contractor for all trades and scope of work as included in the Project Bid Documents. Bidders must submit separate bids for each area of work (Guidance Office Area, Media Center, Band and Band Storage Area, 8 x Bathrooms) and include a $50,000 contingency fund for the entire project. Bids must be submitted in sealed packages to the School Town of Munster Administration Center, 8616 Columbia Avenue, Munster, IN 46321, by the specified bid date and time. All required documentation must be included, and bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount is required. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the total Contract Sum. Substantial Completion must be achieved by August 1, 2026, with Final Completion by August 7, 2026. All work is to be completed during the Summer Break period, with full access to all areas of the school provided to the contractor. All questions should be submitted in writing via email. Full electronic files of the Contract Documents will be provided to all bidders and suppliers upon request by email. Bidders are responsible for reviewing, downloading, and printing the entire set of Construction Documents, including all Drawings, Specifications, and Addenda. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Proposals received after the Bid Date and Time will be returned unopened.
