Sealed Proposals are requested for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees to construct the Ellingson Road Overlay and Interurban Trail Crossing. The Contract provides for three work schedules: Schedule A (asphalt resurfacing of four roadway segments), Schedule B (construction of a pedestrian traffic signal at the Interurban Trail), and Schedule C (installation of approximately 140 linear feet of 12-inch DI water main, one fire hydrant, and associated work). Additionally, Schedule D1 involves about 30 linear feet of 12-inch DI water main and associated work, while Schedule D2 involves about 290 linear feet of 12-inch DI water main, one fire hydrant, and associated work; either D1 or D2 will be awarded, but not both. The improvements include removal and reconstruction of limited pavement areas, pavement planing, curb ramp replacement, traffic signal loop replacement, pedestrian push button modifications, pavement markings, traffic control, and other miscellaneous items as detailed in the Contract Documents. Proposals must be submitted on the provided form and accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or Proposal bond of at least five percent of the total Proposal amount. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
