The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a bond of a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. The bidder whose bid is accepted shall furnish to the City, a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, or a combination performance and labor and material payment bond, and at the completion of the work, a two (2) year maintenance bond, each in the amount of 100% of the final contract price, with such sureties as shall be approved by the City and as detailed and described below.
