Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Coventry, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
This project involves the development of new playscape areas with a poured in place rubberized surface as specified in the contract documents. Coventry's Public Works Department will prepare the area to subgrade elevation. Bidders are required to provide playground proposals, a 10% bid bond, a non-collusion form, and the CHRO's Bidder Contract Compliance Monitoring Report. The contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including set aside (25% SBE and 6.25% M/W/DBE) and non-discrimination requirements. The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject all proposals, waive any technical defects, and make an award to the most responsive and responsible bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the actual bid opening date. Minority/Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements.
