The proposed construction is described in general as follows: The general nature of the work on which bids will be received consists of upgrading existing generator relaying and control interface, modifying 15 kV switchgear buswork, installation of 15 kV potential transformers, and related work. The City Council will meet at the Public Safety Complex, 614 Main Street, Pella, Iowa on May 19, 2026 at 6:00 pm, at which time and place the said City Council will hold a public hearing and consider adoption of the plans, specifications, and proposed form of contract and estimate of costs for the West Generating Plant Control Upgrades (Rebid) project, which are now on file at the office of the Pella municipal utilities. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
