Reference Number 0000418892 The City of Jamestown requests sealed bids for ADA sidewalk ramps. The work includes excavating, removing, and disposing of existing sidewalk ramp blocks, adjacent sidewalk blocks, and curbs & gutters as specified. New sidewalk ramps, sidewalk blocks, curbs, and gutters are to be installed according to the City of Jamestown Standard Specifications. ADA Certified Detectable Warning Plates must be installed per NYSDOT Sidewalk Curb Ramps Details Standard Specification 608-01. All incidental damage to surrounding concrete, blacktop, and bricks must be repaired as specified. Brick street repairs will be as marked in the field. All affected areas must be backfilled, topsoiled, landscaped, and seeded to provide an evenly graded and aesthetically pleasing finished lawn space. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the total bid price. Hard copy proposals must be submitted on forms provided in the Contract Documents, sealed in an envelope marked "BID DOCUMENTS" with the project name, bidder's name and address, and date and time of opening. The right to reject any and all bids or to make any award to other than the low bidder, as deemed in the best interest of the City of Jamestown, is reserved.
