Brunswick Golden Isles Airport Passenger Terminal Parking Lot Expansion - Concrete The work generally includes the Phase 2 expansion of the Passenger Terminal Parking Lot at Brunswick Golden Isles Airport and related improvements. The project is separated into three bid schedules: Bid Schedules C and D include new asphalt pavement on crushed aggregate base, earthwork and subgrade preparation, concrete curbing, sidewalks, curb ramps, painted pavement marking installation and removal, topsoiling and grassing, tree installation and relocation, stormwater system improvements, parking lot lighting improvements, roadway pavement markings, and parking lot signage improvements. Bid Schedule E includes crack sealing, sealcoating of asphalt pavements, and remarking of existing parking areas. Bid Schedule E is to be performed in two phases allowing for existing parked vehicles to clear, with re-mobilization anticipated. Up to 184 parking spaces will be added. No airfield improvements or access to airfield areas will be included. Bidders must accompany bids with a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid. Contract bonding is required. Bidders must participate in the Owner's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, with a goal of zero percent to be performed by firms certified as DBE by the Georgia Department of Transportation. Bids are to be submitted in accordance with the Project Manual, and prices held for up to 90 days. All documents are available electronically. Written questions may be submitted until the specified deadline and will be addressed by addendum. Partial sets of documents will not be issued.
