Provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to remediate and replace soil in the vicinity of Building 53 at the Amarillo Veterans Affairs Health Care Facility. Work includes all activities required to safely remove, remediate, and replace affected soil and to fully restore the area to existing conditions upon completion. The contractor shall exercise extreme care to prevent damage to Government property, including but not limited to buildings, equipment, trees, shrubs, turf, sprinkler systems, and utility lines. Any damage caused by the contractor shall be repaired and restored to original condition at no additional cost to the Government. All disturbed grounds shall be restored to existing conditions. All materials used shall be new, free from defects or imperfections, and asbestos free. No asbestos-containing materials shall be used on this project. The contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer's Representative prior to the start of work and shall coordinate the work schedule with the COR no later than seven days before commencing performance. All work shall be completed within thirty days of the start date. Other contractors may be working in the same area, and the contractor shall perform all work in a manner that does not impede or interfere with other ongoing contract activities.
