Description

Site work and new construction of a civil project in Warren, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of approximately 20,515 linear feet of new sewer line installation. The majority of the sewer extension will be gravity fed, with some sections using low-pressure sewer due to topography near the southern end of the project. The new lines will serve residential areas along Mohawk Ave, Elk Road, Shelby Circle, Lynn Drive, Valley View Drive, Shale Ridge, and Kimberly Court. All gravity lines are to be installed under the streets, while pressure sewer lines will be installed parallel to streets within the right of way. The project also includes the installation of a new pump station within the existing system along Callender Street. Instructions to bidders, requirements for bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are provided in the Bidding Documents. All materials used for the project must comply with the Build America, Buy America Act requirements.
