Sealed bids are requested for the replacement of chilled water lines at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, under project number 19-616-23-01, F.19002515. Complete Bidding Documents are available electronically from Parish Engineering, LLC. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5.0%) of the total bid (including all alternates) and must be submitted in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders found in the Bid Documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be accepted only from contractors licensed in Louisiana under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for Mechanical or Building Construction classifications. All bidders must comply with the provisions of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). Bids cannot be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after the bid opening, except as provided under LA. R.S. 38:2214. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Project awards are subject to the availability of necessary state, federal, or other funding sources.
