Renovation of an office development in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
Update 3 April 2026 - See updated SOW_rev2. This solicitation is extended to end of day 10 April 2026. All offers are required to resubmit their offer!! Email to the Contracting Officer. Update 2 April 2026 - RFI: 1. Frame Scope The SOW calls for frame and glass replacement. However, our team indicates the existing system may only require removal and reinstallation of framing components (not full replacement). Please confirm if this approach is acceptable. Response: Remove and replace frame sections as needed to install the new glass pieces. The curtain wall frame holds multiple pieces of glass. 2. Glass Type G1 - Color Code The SOW references "Prussian Blue" frit, but no paint manufacturer or color code is provided. Please provide the required color code or let us know if an equivalent match can be submitted for approval. Response: We don't have any further information on the paint. Replace the window and frame on the 5th floor of Building 46 at the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR). The contractor is required to provide frame and glass replacement, not just removal and reinstallation of framing components. The glass type includes a 'Prussian Blue' frit, but no specific paint manufacturer or color code is provided. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price award, with a period of performance of 45 days from the Notice to Proceed. Offerors must be within a 120-mile commutable radius of DSCR and have a visible office on SAM.gov. Proposals must include the address from which mobilization occurs. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror that meets the requirements stated in the Statement of Work and solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM prior to award. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day will be assessed for late completion. Proposals must provide all information necessary to assess technical acceptability, with emphasis on Sections 3 and 6 of the Statement of Work.
