A classroom audio enhancement system improves learning by evenly distributing the teacher's voice throughout the classroom, ensuring intelligibility, reducing voice strain, and supporting student engagement. Key specifications include active amplification, infrared microphone technology, 3-band equalization and integration into the public address system. The system should also provide visual recording capabilities (classroom camera) as well as language translating function. There are approximately 54 classrooms at Gaines Elementary School. The translator equipment would be in only 14 of the 54 rooms. (1 on each grade level(6), 4 specials, 2 ESOL rooms, 1 in the library, and 1 in the cafeteria) The Clarke County School District is inviting proposals for Classroom Audio Enhancement for Gaines Elementary School. Sealed proposals will be received by the Clarke County School District in the SPLOST Office located at 145 Paradise Blvd., Athens, Georgia, 30607. The contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated per the school district's purchase order agreement. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.
