Sealed bids are requested for 12,283 square yards of single sealcoat with RS-2PM (E-2M)/CRS-2PM (E-3M). Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must use the municipality-furnished forms. For third class cities, bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality. For other municipal types, this is at the municipality's discretion. A performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount must be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of award. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
