The work includes pavement removal in the identified area of Taxiway Alpha, consisting of removal of the asphalt surface course and cement treated base course, replacement of the asphalt surface course, installation of crushed rock aggregate base course, installation of pavement markings, and temporary erosion control measures. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to postpone the award of the contract for ninety days. Bidders are responsible for checking OregonBuys for any addenda. Bids exceeding $50,000 are subject to prevailing wage rates. Contractors must comply with federal, state, and local non-discrimination and civil rights laws. Additional requirements include compliance with Buy American Preferences, Davis Bacon Requirements, disadvantaged business enterprise regulations, Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, and prohibitions related to covered unmanned aircraft systems and foreign trade restrictions. No late bids will be accepted.
