Sealed bid proposals are being requested from qualified persons or vendors to furnish Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Water Meters, and from qualified persons or firms registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for the installation of the furnished AMI water meters, to complete the implementation of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System within the Town’s water system. The selected water meter provider and the selected water meter installation contractor must coordinate and work together to ensure the AMI system is completed and serves as a fully functional AMI system. The project is financed in whole or in part by the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona through the Clean Water or Drinking Water Revolving Fund. The selected Vendor and Contractor must comply with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations stipulated in the WIFA Contract Conditions. Minority, woman-owned, and disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders are responsible for the timely delivery of bids and unsigned bids will be rejected as unresponsive. All information and bids submitted will be available for public inspection following the award. To receive bid and contract documents, bidders must register as a plan holder with the Town Engineer by providing an email address and contact phone number. All questions and correspondence regarding this project are to be directed to the Town Engineer. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding, and to withhold the award for any reason determined to be in the Town’s best interests.
