Upgrade 343 existing residential water meter box installations to current City Standards and Specifications. Work includes soft and hard-scape box locations and involves, but is not limited to, installation of standard meter boxes, relocation of meter boxes and/or correction of non-compliant connections. Entities intending to bid should register with the Portal in order to receive addenda. Bidders are responsible for making sure they have all addenda before submitting bids. Sealed Bids will be received online as instructed on the City Portal or may also be submitted to the City, via mail, or in person with prior arrangement. Hard copies will not be accepted unless arrangements are made in advance. No faxed or emailed submissions will be accepted. Prequalification is a requirement. Bidders must be prequalified with City of Bend at the time the bids are opened. Prequalification process is administered by the Private Development Engineering Division through the CityView permit and licensing software and customer portal.
