The work includes roadway surfacing, concrete curbs, sidewalk, driveways, medians, pavement markings, storm drainage, right-of-way and landscaping improvements, and additional items as detailed in plans to complete the project. The project consists of roadway improvements including the construction of a single lane roundabout at the intersection of SE 15th Street and Ferguson Road, the repaving of SE 15th Street from approximately 400' south of Chloe Lane to approximately 275' north of SE King Hezekiah Way, and the construction of a shared use path from the intersection of SE 15th Street and Ferguson Road to the intersection of SE 15th Street and SE Iron Horse Lane. Entities intending to bid should register with the City Portal in order to receive addenda. Bidders are responsible for making sure they have all addenda before submitting bids. Bids must be physically received by the deadline. No faxed or electronic (email) submissions will be accepted. Bids may also be submitted to the City, via mail or in person, but hard copies will not be accepted unless the Bidder has made arrangements ahead of time. If a hard copy is submitted without prior coordination, the bid will be returned unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids not in compliance, postpone award, waive informalities, and select the bid in the City's interest. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalification is a requirement. Bidders must be prequalified with the City of Bend at the time the bids are opened. The prequalification process is administered by the Private Development Engineering Division through the CityView permit and licensing software and customer portal. New applications for the City of Bend prequalification must be received at least 10 business days before the bid deadline. Registration for the customer portal may be obtained online. When applying, indicate 'For Current Bid' followed by the type of work requesting approval for to ensure prompt processing. This project is subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 regarding payment of prevailing wages. The Engineers estimate is $4,100,000 to $5,300,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
