The scope includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 1,040 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main and 630 linear feet of 6-inch water main, along with a new fire hydrant, appurtenant valves and fittings, and water main tie-ins to the existing distribution system. The work also includes approximately 39 water meter service connections, which require reconnection to existing service lines. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalification is a requirement. Bidders must be prequalified with the City of Bend at the time the bids are opened. The prequalification process is administered by the Private Development Engineering Division through the CityView permit and licensing software and customer portal. New applications for the City of Bend prequalification must be received at least 10 business days before the bid deadline. Registration details and instructions for prequalification are provided on the city's contractor qualification portal. This project is subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 regarding payment of prevailing wages. The Project Manager for this project is: Oliver Murray.
