Invitation for Quotes (RFQ) for the installation of fencing and a gate at Parker's River Landing. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for installation. This project is being procured in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B. Prevailing wage rates apply. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes if deemed in the best interest of the Town. This Contract shall be fully performed by the Contractor in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents on or before May 1, 2026, unless extended, in writing, at the sole discretion of the Town, and not subject to assent by the Contractor, and subject to the availability and appropriation of funds as certified by the Town Accountant. Time is of the essence for the completion of the Contract. All questions pertaining to the general nature of this project or to the specific requirements of this RFQ must be received in writing and may be addressed to Svetlana Salemme, Procurement Program Manager of Yarmouth, Email: SSalemme@yarmouth.ma.us. All addenda that may be issued for this RFQ shall be acknowledged and included with the RFQ submission. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: 1.1 Removal and Disposal of Existing Fence o Remove the existing fence and any associated components at the project site. o Properly dispose of all materials off-site in accordance with applicable regulations. o Leave the site clean and free of debris upon completion. 1.2 New Fence Installation o Install a fully enclosed fence approximately 50 feet by 25 feet (Contractor to field verify). o Fence shall be: o 8 feet in height o Cedar board style fence o Include top and bottom rails o Posts shall be: o Pressure-treated wood posts (minimum 5" x 5" x 12') o Installed with post caps o Set securely in the ground (method to be specified by contractor; concrete setting recommended) 1.3 Gate Requirements o Provide and install one double-swing gate: o Total width: 8 feet o Height: 8 feet o Gate shall: o Match fence material and height o Include all required hardware (hinges, latch, and locking mechanism suitable for municipal use) 1.4 Installation Requirements o Contractor shall: o Field verify all dimensions and existing conditions prior to installation o Ensure fence is installed plumb, level, and structurally sound o Contractor is responsible for: o Coordinating Dig Safe prior to installation o Protection of existing site features o Minor site restoration of disturbed areas
