A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Cape Elizabeth School Department seeks to pre-qualify General Contractors to bid on the new Cape Elizabeth Middle School and Pond Cove Elementary Expansion and Renovation construction project located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The locally funded project consists of the construction of a new 5 th - 8 th grade middle school building, approximately 110,000 square feet on the Cape Elizabeth school campus site; and renovations and additions to the existing Pond Cove Elementary School on the same site. The project includes site improvements, and demolition of the existing Cape Elizabeth Middle School upon completion of the new school building construction.
