Renovation of a multi-residential development in Jena, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Sealed bids are being requested for the HVAC Replacement Project Phase 2 for the Jena Housing Authority. Bids must conform to the advertisement and specifications. Complete bidding documents can be obtained from ACE Digital, LLC upon payment of a deposit, which is refundable to bona fide prime bidders who submit a bid and return the documents in good condition. Bidders must be Louisiana Licensed Contractors with a major classification as Building Construction or Air Conditioning Work, Ventilation, Refrigeration, and Duct Work. Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid is required, and must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $250 per day for each day the work remains incomplete beyond the established completion date. All payments must comply with Davis-Bacon Act wage rates. Contractors must be appropriately licensed. Bids must remain open for 45 days after opening. The Jena Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged for bidders.
