Description

Site work and renovation of a parking garage in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.

The project involves refurbishing approximately 103,788 gsf on the top deck (Level 7) of Parking Structure 2 (PS-2) to replace the waterproofing membrane due to concrete spalling caused by water intrusion. Work includes removing the existing polyurethane (PU) waterproofing membrane, installing a new polyurethane methacrylate (PUMA) waterproofing system, repairing the top and underside of the floor slab structure where spalling has been identified, restriping the affected parking spaces, and repainting the retaining walls. The facility is a seven-story parking structure built in 1969, providing parking for permit holders and campus visitors.
