Demolition and site work for a military facility in San Luis Obispo, California. Completed plans call civil work for a military facility.

The Contractor shall perform the work, consisting of all fees, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and services for the complete Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) abatement and complete demolition of the following building: Building 1572, which is approximately 13,400 sq. ft., located between Glenn Avenue and Merced Avenue, Camp San Luis Obispo, CA 93451. This includes the identification, removal, and disposal of all hazardous materials, such as asbestos and lead-based paint, in strict compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, including demolition and hazardous material abatement permits, and for ensuring all utilities are disconnected and capped prior to demolition. Following the abatement, the work includes the complete demolition and removal of the entire structure, including all foundations, slabs, and associated site features. The project also requires the removal of all demolition debris and site restoration, including backfilling, grading to ensure proper drainage, and seeding of all disturbed areas. The contractor is also responsible for implementing a comprehensive safety plan to protect both workers and the public throughout the project. Potential Bidders who attended the mandatory pre-bid job walk may submit written questions regarding the project by 4/20/2026. All questions should be emailed in writing to Sergey.Kinchak@cmd.ca.gov. NO QUESTIONS will be entertained after 4/20/2026.
