The Project consists of the removal and replacement of two, vertical, forced draft cooling towers with two new vertical cooling towers and associated controls and condenser water piping. In addition to the cooling tower replacement, one remote tower sump basin will be removed and replaced with a new remote sump with removable cover. One base mounted condenser water pump will also be removed and replaced with two new condenser water pumps piped in parallel for 100% redundancy. Additionally, the work will include, but is not limited to, all related electrical modifications, specialties, and controls for fully functional and operational systems. Interested contractors can download and submit a bid by registering with online or call (952) 233-1632. Bidding Documents can be downloaded for a non-refundable charge of $22.00. Bidders pay $42.00 for On-line Submittals. Registering as a plan holder is recommended for all prime contractors and subcontractors. Instructions to Bidders are available in the Project Manual with the Bidding Documents. Bids will ONLY be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com.
