This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Tucson, Arizona. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
Services will be requested on an as-needed basis and include installation, alteration, and repair of all plumbing/sewer emergencies, covering the full scope of work under the K-37 license issued by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Work includes both commercial and residential properties and may involve locations on or near utilities in public rights-of-way/easements potentially conflicting with City of Tucson Water facilities. Contractors are required to provide labor, materials, equipment, and services for minor or emergency repairs of water, sewer, and gas lines, as well as the installation, alteration, and repair of piping, fixtures, appliances, and appurtenances related to water supply. The scope also includes sewer and vent pipe cleaning and rooter service for lines ranging from 1 1/2" to 12", with cleanup and legal disposal of all refuse off-site, and pumping services for pools, irrigation systems, building sumps, or drainage containments. All work must comply with applicable building codes, National Electric Codes, NFPA, OSHA, City of Tucson Special Provisions, General Conditions, and job-specific plans or specifications. Firms must submit a cover letter, statement of qualifications meeting specific evaluation criteria, a signed offer page, and acknowledgment of all addenda. All required forms must be included, and only requested information should be submitted. Contractors must familiarize themselves with the scope of work and contract requirements prior to submitting qualifications. Any proposed modifications to contract provisions must be clearly identified in the submittal for consideration. Evaluation will be based on experience and qualifications, approach to performing services, general information, and subcontractor selection plan. Pre-inspections, use of new and suitable materials, strict adherence to codes and standards, and clear project management approaches are required. Contractors must respond to routine calls within three working days and emergency calls within 1.5 hours. The contract is not exclusive and does not guarantee any amount of work or services required by the City.
