Sealed bids are invited for the furnishing of road gravel and armor coat gravel to points of county roads as designated by the Stanton County Commissioners. Bids must be submitted using proposal forms available from the County Clerk's office. The bidder's name and address must be clearly marked on the envelope containing the bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn on a Nebraska bank, payable to the County Clerk, in the amount of $500.00, to be forfeited if the bidder refuses to enter into a contract if awarded. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond of $5,000.00. The county reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities.
