Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The scope of work consists of installing a precast arch culvert on precast concrete spread footings with headwalls and wingwalls (Dearborn County Bridge 221 on Davidson Road over Jameson Creek), constructing a temporary runaround, installing guardrail, performing roadway approach work, site grading, and drainage improvements according to the plans and specifications. Instructions to bidders: Proposals must be executed on the furnished proposal form. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond (with surety) for 10% of the bid amount. The awarded contractor must provide a Surety Bond for 100% of the contract price. Bidders must demonstrate experience in bridge construction and provide references for five similar projects. Bidders must be INDOT pre-qualified for D(a) Highway or Bridge over Water or E(e) Small Structures, Culverts, and Drainage Items. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities.
