The City of Santa Cruz Water Department is soliciting professional and technical services to assist with the update of its Water Loss Control Program. The scope of work focuses on a thorough evaluation of the current regulatory environment, with emphasis on evaluating the feasibility of achieving the customized Water Loss Performance Standard by 2028, as defined by the California State Water Resources Control Board, relevant executive orders, and Senate Bill 555. Proposals must apply standardized principles and techniques as outlined in the American Water Works Association M36 standard, along with the integration of innovative tools and technologies and related data now available to the Water Department. Categorical and prioritized areas of focus and related tasks are to be completed within calendar year 2026.
