The City of Visalia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for an annual contract for pressure washer maintenance and repair services for the Public Works Department. The contract is for a twelve-month period with the option for up to four annual extensions. The successful bidder will provide all services necessary to fulfill the requirements, including: - Routine quarterly maintenance of all pressure washers at the Public Works Corporation Yard, with all routine maintenance parts included in the service cost - Annual routine maintenance services performed during one of the quarterly visits - Response to non-routine repairs within 24 hours, with itemized estimates, pre-approval, and invoices listing specific parts and labor hours with receipts - Non-routine repair markup on parts not to exceed ten percent Bid instructions include submission of completed bid forms, addressing and marking of sealed envelopes, timely delivery, and submission of required certifications and documents. Bids not accompanied by completed forms will not be considered. Bidders should use the City’s Purchasing Division for all communications and direct questions via email. Bids are subject to local preference if the vendor has a business address in Tulare County for at least six months, with a match preference for bids within 5% of the low bidder. Scope of work includes the maintenance and repair of various pressure washers, both hot and cold, with detailed requirements for lubrication, filter and oil changes, inspection, cleaning, de-scaling, burner checks, and annual valve/fuel adjustments.
