Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Visalia, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work includes a New AcCEL Facility Classroom/ Office building and a New ERS Library Media Facility single story wood frame, slab on grade construction, an entry structure, P.V. Canopy structure and Canopy structure with on-site and off-site development. The project scope consists of but is not limited to janitorial cleaning, demolition, surveying, earthwork, storm drain, sewer and water, site concrete, asphalt, fencing, landscape / irrigation, bicycle racks, termite control, concrete, masonry, structural steel, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, metal wall panels, metal roofing, built up roofing, sheet metal flashing, casework, insulation, doors / frames / hardware, glazing, storefront/entrance, folding operable door, drywall & exterior plastering, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, FRP, wall coverings, painting, identification devices, building signage, fire extinguishers, toilet accessories, cubicle curtains & track, automatic retractable wall, food service equipment, food service equipment, exterior athletic equipment, solid surface countertops, stainless countertops, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, access controls, electrical, low voltage, integrated automation, and fire alarm. The Work shall be completed within 365 calendar days from the date of the Owner's Notice to Proceed. Submit bid security with proposal, made payable to Owner, in amount of 10% of the Bid, in the form of certified check, bid bond, cashier's check or cash. The Owner will require the successful Bidder to achieve the minimum goal of 3% DVBE (Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises) established in the bidding documents or to provide acceptable evidence of good faith efforts to do so. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality in any bid received and/or determine in its discretion the responsibility of any bidder, and which bid is most advantageous to the Owner.
