Site work for a mixed-use development in Daly City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.
The work includes the removal and replacement of existing asphalt and concrete sidewalk, clearing and grubbing, reconstruction of curb ramps and driveways, construction of ADA parking space, installation of thermoplastic striping and markings, replacement of utility boxes, and adjustment of utility boxes to finished grade and related work as shown on plans or specified in the special provisions. Sealed proposals must be submitted only upon the bid proposal forms furnished. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cash, certified or cashier's check payable to the City of Daly City, in an amount not less than 10% of the aggregate bid. A valid Class A license or other combination of any Class C licenses that constitutes a majority of the contract work must be in the possession of the successful bidder at the time the bid is submitted. The time limit for completion of work is ninety (90) working days. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations at the time the bid is submitted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in such bids and, if awarded, to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
