Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the 2025-26 Maintenance Area 6 Slurry Seal Program. Requirements include filing surety bonds for faithful performance and payment (both at 100% of the contract price), providing certificates of public liability and property damage insurance naming the City of Walnut as additional insured, and a certificate for worker’s compensation insurance. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check or a surety bond payable to the City of Walnut for at least 10% of the total bid price as guaranty. Contractors must pay prevailing wage rates as determined by the state, and any unlisted classifications must be compensated at rates commensurate with similar roles. Bidders must hold appropriate licenses per the Business and Professions Code and obtain City of Walnut business licenses. The agency reserves rights to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and review bids for sixty days.
