Site work for a water / sewer project in Walnut, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the FY 2025-2026 Catch Basin Retrofit Project in the City of Walnut. Each bidder must submit a bid with a certified or cashier's check, or a surety bond for at least 10% of the total aggregate bid price, as a guarantee to execute the awarded contract and furnish the required bonds. Contractors must provide a Faithful Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract price, as well as insurance certificates as specified. Prevailing wage rates as determined by the State of California are required for all workers. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The successful contractor and subcontractors must possess City of Walnut business licenses. Work must commence on or before the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed and be fully completed within thirty (30) working days to the satisfaction of the Engineer. Liquidated damages of five hundred dollars per working day will apply for delays beyond the completion date. The City of Walnut reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals and to waive any irregularity.
