Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in West Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work involves the rehabilitation of twenty-six manholes, thirteen Detection Stations, two Pump Stations, replacement of eleven Manhole Covers and Rims in the Class I and Class III landfill leachate collection systems, and five Sanitary Lift Stations, including cleaning and protective coatings. The Contractor must be licensed and an authorized Warren Environmental products applicator with a minimum of five years experience as per Technical Specifications 02767. The Contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the specified work. This is a phased project with an initial two-year contract period and an option to renew for an additional year at the Authority's discretion. All work must comply with the Plans & Specifications and all applicable codes. Bids must be submitted electronically through Bonfire. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than five percent of the total Bid, either as a Bid Bond from a surety company or a cashier's check. Only electronic copies of the Bid Bond may be submitted, but originals may be requested for mailing. SBE firms are encouraged to participate in the bidding process.
