Bidding is for a single overall contract and all work incidental thereto. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, and Proposal Identification Number on the outside, and must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). A Certificate of Consent of Surety from a Surety Company must be included, stating it will provide performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract if the bidder is successful. The bid must also include required prequalification/classification certificates, proof of registration with the State of New Jersey, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informality, and award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening.
