A new 1-story building of approximately 7,750 square feet UK Center for Applied Energy Research. The building program consists of a large meeting space, pre-function/entry, board room, breakroom, 2 offices, restrooms and support spaces. The building structure consists of ICF walls and structural steel roof on slab-on-grade with a SBS modified roof. Exterior finishes consist of brick veneer and metal panels. Building HVAC is supplied by a geo-thermal loop system. The site/landscape includes new parking, new plaza and new outdoor space for conference room. The building is expecting a LEED Silver rating. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder as a condition of the contract. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders, General Conditions and Special Conditions. Should any of these references disagree, the Special Conditions prevail.
