The project includes construction of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 35-foot-wide asphalt taxilane pavement, including airfield lighting, associated grading and drainage, and utility improvement as shown on the plans and indicated in the specifications. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in accordance with the instructions. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds in accordance with the contract documents. All bidders must make good faith efforts to subcontract a minimum of 0.0% of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Bidders must be licensed to perform work in the state of Arkansas. Contractors must comply with specific federally required provisions listed in the contract documents. Bids must remain in effect for 120 days after the bid opening date. The City of Siloam Springs reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids.
