Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, testing instruments, materials (other than those furnished by Caltrans), work signs, traffic control, travel, and incidentals required to provide routine and non-routine electrical services for facility maintenance and repair to high and medium voltage transformers, switch gears, circuit breakers, panel boards and equipment, alarms, and sensors associated with Electrical Power Substation to Caltrans. For a more complete description of services, refer to the Proposed Form of Agreement, Exhibit A. Bidder shall possess, at the time of bid submittal and continuously thereafter for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Bidder must also certify, under penalty of perjury, that its Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license is in a classification appropriate to the work to be undertaken. Caltrans will verify bidder’s DIR registration and Contractor License; it is not necessary to provide a copy. Failure to meet any or all minimum qualifications, in the opinion of Caltrans, will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Bidders must comply with instructions found in the solicitation, including required programs and preferences for small businesses, disadvantaged businesses, disabled veteran businesses, and other covered entities under State and Federal programs. The DVBE Participation Program applies and requires five percent (5%) participation. Prevailing Wages are required if the total bid amount exceeds $15,000; if under, Prevailing Wage language will be removed prior to award.
