The Village requests the services of a qualified Architectural Firm for the purpose of completing design documents for exterior door replacement work at the Civic Center located at 535 Duane St. in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Architectural Firm shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work in a manner satisfactory to the Village. Interested Architectural Firms are required to complete all forms in all sections and shall respond as set forth herein. All proposals shall be submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope clearly labeled to identify the Architectural Firm and project and marked "SEALED PROPOSAL - DO NOT OPEN" or may be e-mailed directly to the Facilities Superintendent. Proposals that contain omissions, erasures, alterations, or additions not called for, conditional or alternate proposals unless called for, or that contain irregularities of any kind may be rejected. Any and all exceptions to these specifications MUST be clearly and completely indicated on the proposal sheet. The Work is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Village reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the Work, or to omit portions of the Work, as deemed necessary. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Unless proposals are rejected, award of the contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and qualified Architectural Firm. The Village reserves the right to award the Work based on its determination of which is in the best interest of the Village and the public health, safety and welfare.
