Site work for a transportation facility in Ticonderoga, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
This project consists of the expansion of the existing aircraft tie down apron. The project generally includes the expansion of approximately 2,550 SY of asphalt pavement, aircraft tie downs, pavement markings, a new 780 SY gravel access road including utility relocation, and associated grading. The project will be bid as a Base Bid only. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. The project is sales tax exempt. Each bid shall be submitted with the original and a duplicate copy of the entire Bid Section for this project in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Apron Expansion (Phase 1)". Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
